    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with Correspondent Sellers to facilitate the purchase of residential loans in accordance with applicable Federal and State requirements, Agency guidelines and Texas Capital Bank policy
    • Assist in providing resolution to any compliance issues identified
    • Ensure each mortgage loan is audited in accordance with all investor guidelines and in compliance with all government regulations
    • Ensure loan documentation is complete and meets bank policy and investor standards
    • Review and train others on how to review residential mortgage loan disclosures for TRID compliance
    • Keep review process updated based on new residential mortgage loan regulations and procedures
    • Respond within published SLAs to all condition reviews and audit findings
    • Coordinate with management on eligibility review performance and process improvements
    • In conjunction with the Supervisors, serve as a resource for questions, identifying training needs and performing quality control of external production staff
    • Adhere to all internal and external NPI procedures and policies
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required, college degree preferred
    • 5+ years of mortgage operations experience preferred
    • 2+ years of closing experience preferred
    • Knowledge and understanding of Fannie, Freddie, FHA, VA and USDA guidelines and procedures
    • Knowledge in all federal regulations attributable to mortgage banking (TRID, RESPA, TILA, FCRA, HMDA, ECOA, etc.)
    • Ability to analyze risk as it relates to the investment of quality loans
    • Thorough knowledge of residential mortgage loan documentation required
    • Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to manage priorities
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast paced, deadline driven, team environment
    • Demonstrates the ability to comprehend program changes and new program guidelines
    • Possess strong analytical and research skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
