  • Overview

    Texas Capital Bank is looking for a hands-on Enterprise Information Analyst who has experience in information management, data warehousing, big data, and analytics technologies to provide us with tactical direction in the areas of business intelligence and analytics.  This role reports into Enterprise Data Management and develops analytical solutions to support the new Enterprise Data Strategy. 

    The Enterprise Information Analyst will develop detailed knowledge of underlying data and systems at Texas Capital Bank and become a subject matter expert on content, current and future uses of data, and the quality and interrelationship between core elements of a new data repository.  The Enterprise Information Analyst will partner with the Enterprise Data Analysts to drive the Enterprise Data Strategy, assess and implement business consumption tools, facilitate user adoption of business intelligent assets, and develop OLAP and semantic data layers for business consumption.


    • Performs role in areas of advanced data techniques, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, statistical methods, analytic design and self-service Business Intelligence
    • Develops and maintains self-service Business Intelligence data environments using Microsoft SQL Server architecture required for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Proven track record to drive rapid prototyping and design for end-to-end analytical environments
    • Develops enterprise data from new and existing data sources, publicly available data and business-to-business partnerships for advanced data analytics and self-service Business Intelligence
    • Establishes standards and guidelines for the design and development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of advanced data analytics and models
    • Work with lines of business to define data requirements and deliverables, and translates data requirements into production specifications
    • Understand and articulates line of business data requirements and works alongside the IT Delivery team to define the corresponding solution design


    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of SQL + MSBI, with emphasis in SQL Server Analysis Services (Cubes)
    • Prior experience building and supporting enterprise-wide programs for self-service BI
    • Understanding of data management principles and industry best practices, inherent risks, and controls
    • Ability to understand data requirements across lines of business and organize as common data requirements to support company specific strategic objectives
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with business owners across the organization and influence outcomes
    • Banking experience in an analytical, finance or IT role preferred
    • Experience with data analytics development within the Azure cloud platform preferred
