    The Compliance Advisory Officer – Fair & Responsible Banking is responsible for reporting and data analytics for HMDA, CRA and Fair Lending related regulations (ECOA, FHA, and FCRA) across all business lines and promoting a strong compliance culture with fair and responsible banking.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare HMDA and CRA reports monthly and upload to RiskExec software to identify any data related issues
    • Work with business lines and Compliance Assurance to correct any data related issues
    • Prepare HMDA and CRA reports for compliance management monthly or as needed Support the Senior Manager – Compliance Advisory and the Director of Community Development/CRA on regulatory examinations and audits by answering examination or audit information request, addressing examination or audit finding and discussing compliance processes and policies and applicable action plans with the impacted business line
    • Complete fair lending related statistical analyses and risk assessments
    • Track and implement any corrective action or control enhancements recommended as a result of statistical analyses,  comparative file reviews, or reviews by Compliance Assurance, Internal Audit or Regulators
    • Assist with preparing Fair and Responsible Banking Committee meeting materials as needed
    • Assist with preparing Quarterly CRA/HMDA Reporting for CRA Oversight Committee and Texas Capital Community Development Corporation Board Committee
    • Provide weekly status report of all activities to Senior Manager – Compliance Advisory
    • Provide Community Development with ad hoc reports, i.e. CRA, CDC and Fair Lending Market Penetration Analysis reports as needed
    • Stay current on the regulatory environment and expectations through discussions with peers, seminars, webinars, roundtables, bankers associations, etc.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Manager – Compliance Advisory or other Corporate Compliance Management managers

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred; or equivalent years of experience
    • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager Certification (CRCM) preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in a financial institution
    • 3+ years of experience in ECOA, FHA, FCRA, and HMDA and CRA 
    • Knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations impacting financial institutions
    • Ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with multiple business lines
    • Extremely detail oriented and comfortable working both independently and in team settings
    • Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability
    • Able to manage and execute multiple complex projects within required timelines
    • Strong Microsoft application knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting systems preferred
