    The primary role of the Third Party Risk Sr. Analyst is to perform due diligence assessments of new and existing third parties engaged by the bank in order to ensure they meet regulatory, federal/state guidelines and TCB requirements. 


    The work is primarily performing reviews of various documentation, information, industry databases and contracts (executed and pending) to confirm they meet the defined requirements.  


    The position will work closely with the various business teams and other Bank subject matter experts in the identification and remediation/resolution of regulatory and audit issues.   The position will also frequently interact and represent the Bank to our many third party providers, including at the executive levels.  In addition, the individual in the position must have a superior professional demeanor and verbal/written communication skills to interact with senior Bank and third party management.  The position will work closely with multiple business stakeholders, compliance and legal on a daily basis. 


    • Perform due diligence reviews of current and prospective third party providers to assess their control structure compared to TCB and legal/regulatory standards/requirements and make an assessment of the residual risk each brings to our company
    • Manage the due diligence assessment of third party services by other subject matter experts within the Bank. Failure of proper assessments could result in immediate and significant financial, regulatory, legal or reputational loss to Texas Capital
    • Perform in-depth reviews of existing and pending third party contracts with the bank to confirm they contain appropriate risk language. Conduct new contract negotiations as needed  for those contracts in the scope of Third Party Risk department responsibilities
    • Complete review write ups and scores to document the completion of the audit reviews and any Findings. This requires professional interaction with all levels of third party personnel
    • Oversee and confirm the resolution of any gaps identified during the due diligence process
    • Will have to maintain a very strong knowledge of the many regulatory (CFPB, OCC, AG), investor (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae) and TCB subject matter expert requirements to ensure that each third party meets those requirements as applicable. Must be able to competently interpret and apply the requirements independently to mitigate risk to Texas Capital 
    • Develop and manage various projects related to the third party management activities. This could be as a project lead or supportive role to an existing project or contract negotiation and 
    • Perform others duties as assigned


    • Requires 3+ years corporate experience in a position involving adherence to regulatory requirements related to the financial services or other heavily regulated industry
    • Past experience in a position requiring multi-tasking in a high activity and fast-paced environment is strongly preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills required
    • Team oriented, flexible, integrity, ethical, professional required
    • Strong communication skills (written and oral) required, including the ability to effectively advise business teams across the bank
    • Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and use influence to execute against business priorities strongly preferred
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented team player with superior analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills preferred
    • Ability to define problems, collect/analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, prepare reports, prioritize and manage several concurrent initiatives/projects preferred
    • Bachelor's degree or more than 5 years of experience in a risk, contract management, compliance or audit position preferred
