    • Participate in the credit approval process for new business opportunities, including gaining an immediate understanding of prospective customer’s financial performance, analyzing available collateral, and reviewing compliance with Bank credit policy.
    • Negotiation of legal documentation and coordination with syndications group as required.
    • Lead closing process of approved new business opportunities.
    • Recommend appropriate structure changes or account management strategies based on changes or anticipated changes in client’s business.
    • Visit selected customers, in-person, at least twice annually; An agenda for customer visits should be prepared so that meetings are as productive as possible.
    • Provide a proactive assessment of credit grades.
    • Work with Operations professionals to ensure appropriate level of monitoring is in place, including but not limited to:
    • Identifying and understanding trends in A/R assignments, collections, ineligibles and dilution
    • Ensure borrowing base reflects all appropriate ineligibles and reserves.
    • Identify and understand any trends in the level or frequency of client borrowings and in availability levels.
    • Monitor collateral reviews and recommend changes in structure or account management strategy to address negative trends.


    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required; MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
    • Seven years of commercial banking experience required, including extensive experience underwriting and/or managing ABL transactions and portfolios.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, and internal committees.
    • Must be proficient with organizational skills, ability to identify and solve problems or issues, and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point).
