    This individual will analyze operational risks to the bank, evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, lead projects and initiatives to reduce risk and efficiently utilize resources. He/she will also routinely interact with senior management and their staff across all of operations and other areas of the bank to resolve issues and develop effective recommendations.


    • Develop, implement and maintain the bank’s risk management framework and supporting policies and procedures
    • Coordinate with bank management to determine timing and level of effort to assess risks and controls
    • Prepare appropriate documentation to support plan activities and assessments
    • Improve existing processes and reporting
    • Assist in the development of risk appetites, tolerance levels and metrics
    • Utilize the bank’s risk software application for communication and documentation
    • Provide education and training to support the risk management culture of the bank
    • Support other risk management functions, committees, policy and governance framework

    • Demonstrated ability in communicating effectively, both verbally and written
    • Work independently and coordinate with the work of others
    • Well organized and detail oriented to handle diverse and concurrent assignments
    • Experienced in risk management, auditing or bank operations
    • Specific knowledge of risk management frameworks, corporate governance, process improvement, banking industry, or products and services
    • Strong Microsoft application knowledge (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) and aptitude for grasping and using various bank software applications
    • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
