    The Senior Business Analyst works between Technology, Operations, Vendors, Sales Partners and our Clients ensuring shared critical functions across organizations are available, efficient and delivering their full capabilities.  Our team works across all areas of the bank, solving problems and making things work better for our internal partners and external clients. 

     

    This role helps to ensure we are delivering what our clients and internal partners need and represents our team in various capacities across the bank.  Banking expertise, strong communication skills, business analyst expertise and experience leading a team make this role a dynamic and well-rounded position needing a versatile, team player.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Partners with Treasury business line to address business and technology needs and/or deficiencies involving process, product or technology
    • Collaborate with impacted stakeholders to ensure projects and operations run smoothly and efficiently
    • Build strong relationships with both internal (such as IT, Risk, Treasury Operations, Strategy, Treasury Product Management, Reporting and Analytics) and external clients
    • Apply consultative approach to assist with functional planning and design, and operational procedural planning and design when implementing new systems and/or product enhancements
    • Subject matter expert on assigned Treasury systems in order to dissect applications and data to identify application defects, deficiencies and areas for improvement
    • Support Treasury by investigating operations-related problems/inquiries and recommend, facilitate and coordinate solutions
    • Manage process, product & project management duties for assigned business initiatives, work streams and operational components. 
    • Assist with vendor management activities with assigned vendors for the applications owned / supported including, but not limited to upgrades, enhancements, implementations, customer impacts, vendor oversight and management
    • Manage change control process including running User Acceptance Testing to support business changes and / or new code releases
    • Coordinate / support new product releases and enhancements, working with IT Implementation teams
    • Ensure adherence to published Bank project management methodology, resulting in consistent development and implementation of project components

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience across Banking Operations, Branch Banking, Business Analysis or Project Management experience required
    • Ability to document detailed process flows in an easily digestible manner required
    • Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources, questioning effectively to draw out business needs and translate into business requirements required
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills, developing multiple solutions to complex problems required
    • Experience identifying strengths/weaknesses with existing processes, and recommending changes to improve efficiency
    • Bachelors' Degree preferred
    • Detailed-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
    • Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills 
    • Ability to multi-task / manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
    • Strong proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio for reports, analysis, and presentations
    • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.  Comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization
    • Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization
