    The Talent Development Advisor will be expected to bring a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to the team in addition to strong business acumen.  They will be collaborating with business leadership and HR Advisors to identify needs and design /manage targeted talent development and OD solutions. 

    The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge and affiliation of “best in class practices” and will have broad Talent Development Experience. This positon reports to the Vice President of Talent Development Advisors and supports our Operations teams.


    • Build close relationships with principle business and functional stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with HR Advisors and across the Talent Development, D&I team to develop and deliver an integrated talent advisor infrastructure that supports learning, talent management, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with business leaders and HR Advisors in identifying mission-critical roles and gaps in organizational competencies.
    • Identify and address career development within your business/functions to ensure clear career paths, role-based competencies, ways to assess talent, and strategies to help employees evolve as their jobs evolve.
    • Partner with HR Advisors to support HR initiatives such as the employee survey and talent planning process.
    • Partner in the development and delivery of programs created by the COEs.
    • Leverage the Learning Enablement Team to Borrow, Build, or Buy the solution that will best address the needs of the TCB Learner.
    • Responsible for research, selection, and evaluation of training programs.
    • Prepare and gain approval for the learning budget and operating plan to support the program(s) within the organizations you support, as well as any funding proposals to ensure the program(s) continuously delivers on objectives.
    • Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field of Leadership & Organizational Development as well as commercial banking by attending seminars / workshops, reading professional journals, and actively participating in professional organizations.  Integrate knowledge gained into current work practices.
    • Demonstrate strategic thinking by developing plans and roadmaps based on the strategic direction for the company.
    • Manage and maintain a learning plan and collaborate with Operations leadership to support the future growth and development of operations teams.


    • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development or related field, or comparable experience required master’s degree helpful.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience managing talent development programs including, personal effectiveness, & leadership development, Organizational Development, or working as an HR Advisor/Business Partner.  
    • Knowledge of and proficiency with learning and organizational development tools and models.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively in a dynamic matrixed organization.
    • Prior experience establishing, creating and implementing innovative learning/development solutions.
    • Strong Technology skills in commonly used products including Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and SharePoint.
    • Exhibit strong strategic and operational implementation skills, the ability to integrate and align strategy, people and activities across functions, processes and teams.
    • Proven relationship building skills: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally; cooperate effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions.
    • Strong communications skills: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner whether with all levels of the organization.  Must have excellent presentation/facilitation skills.
    • Show the ability to interact and influence all levels of staff from individual contributors to senior management.

    • Exceptional judgement and problem solving skills: Gather relevant information to assess situations, determine the importance, urgency and risks in order to make sound decisions/recommendations which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
    • Strong organizational skills: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
    • Ability to travel to regional offices as needed.
