    • Organize, continually update and administer comprehensive flood compliance requirements
    • Maintain knowledge of flood compliance regulations and associated changes
    • Provide flood information review for business units during origination process and give guidance on requirements to avoid exceptions or delays
    • Perform ongoing monitoring and tracking of flood insurance requirements for all loans in accordance with bank policies and procedures
    • Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain appropriate flood documentation as required
    • Communicate any discrepancies related to flood insurance requirements with the appropriate business unit and perform force placement of flood insurance as required
    • Coordinate with Compliance Advisory group on changes or updates to existing procedures or policies
    • Prepare and provide flood related information for any internal or external audits as well as responses to any findings
    • Ensure a satisfactory rating for external audits
    • Monitor the ongoing pipeline for loans to identify flood property loans and begin the coordination with the respective business unit
    • Act as a subject matter expert on flood insurance requirements and provide guidance to other employees involved in complying with flood regulations
    • Occasionally perform funding reviews for daily commercial loan requests, working with Relationship Managers and Relationship Associates to correct documentation deficiencies prior to approving funding
    • Fund loans via Wire Transfer, drafts or approval funding
    • Perform recordation of UCC-1’s and UCC-3’s
    • Responsible for insuring file room standards and security of negotiable collateral under dual control procedures
    • Cross-train in various Loan Operations functions to assist during peak times



    • Minimum of five years of commercial loan operations or loan-related banking experience required, including a minimum of three years of commercial loan documentation, commercial loan funding and/or collateral tracking experience
    • Minimum of three years prior experience administering flood compliance regulations on new and renewed commercial loans, including initial funding requirements and ongoing insurance requirements
    • Prior experience must include personal responsibility for reviewing closed loan packages and approving package for disbursement of funds 
    • Demonstrated knowledge of flood insurance regulations and ability to apply regulatory knowledge to flood compliance processes
    • Ability to effectively communicate flood requirements to senior management, Loan Operations staff, compliance and audit partners including documentation deficiencies 
    • Must have superior knowledge and understanding of business entity document requirements and perfection of various collateral liens, including a working knowledge of consumer real estate compliance requirements
    • Experience with collateral tracking software, AFS Level III and/or ACBS commercial loan software and document imaging software preferred
    • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word applications
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; must be willing to work extended hours during peak times such as month-end and quarter-end
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees to resolve issues relative to documentation requirements
    • A superior customer service mindset when working with both internal and external personnel, including bank vendors when applicable
    • Must demonstrate personal accountability for tasks within area of responsibility
