  • Overview

    Texas Capital Bank’s Private Wealth Advisors Division is in search of a customer-focused, task-oriented post-closing professional to oversee operational and quality control functions.  The ideal candidate will help ensure compliance with the bank’s lending policies and all state and federal laws and regulations. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Review loan funding requests and prepare approval package for wire transfers
    • Perform Pre/Post-Closing Quality Control file reviews focusing on income calculations, red flags compliance, loan data integrity (1003), appraisal, title, credit reports and closing documents to ensure decision made and documents requested conform to investor guidelines
    • Appropriately raise and/or escalate problems and issues to management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Mortgage industry required.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Jumbo / High Net Worth lending environment - Quality Control experience in mortgage a plus
    • Strong understanding of all applicable consumer mortgage regulations and the origination workflow process - Recommend reasonable corrective action relative to quality control findings required
    • Prior experience successfully operationg effectively in environments of change and transformation required
    • Firm borrower advocate with a deep commitment to go above and beyond to ensure that the mortgage origination experience is consistently best in class required
    • Self-starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict time constraints and with a high degree of autonomy
    • Strong oral and written communications skills required
    • A team player with the flexibility to receive constructive professional feedback when appropriate
    • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products required
