    The Senior Data Warehouse Developer must possess a strong understanding of large scale data warehouses using the Microsoft Suite products.  The ideal team member will partner with customers and business owners in creating scalable .NET stack ETL and reporting solutions to accomplish the goals of the team including the vision of Dev Ops. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer must possess a collaborative attitude, strong oral/written presentation skills, excellent problem solving skills and solid analytical/critical thinking skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform as a leader inside Data Management to create scalable .NET stack ETL and reporting solutions which meet the business needs of the organization
    • Develop extracts, transforms, and loads with .NET and SSIS.
    • Drive cloud data platform architectural decisions and development standards
    • Actively contribute towards data migration tasks from on-premise to cloud
    • Create detailed technical specifications and release documentation for assigned ETL and reporting projects
    • Propagate and practice the DevOps vision in the team
    • Multi-task across several ongoing projects and daily duties of varying priorities as required
    • Provide input into each phase of the systems development cycle as required
    • Ensures data integrity, performance quality, and resolution of data load failures
    • Ability to make good judgments, decisions, negotiate and problem solve
    • Work closely with customers and business owners

    Qualifications

    MUST HAVE SKILLS

    • 6+ years of experience as ETL/BI developer with large scale data warehouses required
    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or MIS related area required
    • Project team leadership experience required
    • Possess good experience with C#, .NET, and JSON required
    • Experience with SQL Server, including writing T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS required
    • 3+ years of experience with Azure Services and other cloud experience required
    • Good knowledge developing and deploying applications in Azure environment required
    • Project experience related to data migration of databases/data warehouses (SQL Server) from on-premise to cloud required
    • Strong discipline in full life cycle development required
    • Must have experience in Agile/Iterative development lifecycle

     

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven ability in dimensional data modeling, object creation, and optimization preferred
    • Experience with Salesforce and other SaaS data integrations are a plus
    • Ability to use XML Schema and XSLT
    • Detailed-oriented with a proven history as a self starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
    • Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills 
    • Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
