    Responsibilities

    • Manage a pipeline of sellers in varying stages of the recourse and recovery processes from billing to collection of aged invoices
    • Central point of contact, working with various Correspondent Lending (CL) departments to manage the recourse and recovery and performance management processes associated with Correspondent Lending sellers
    • Manage a very active portfolio of correspondent lenders
    • Assist sellers with the recourse and recovery process including periodic invoice billing, researching seller’s inquires and maintaining updated billing and collection reports
    • Analyze sellers overall business risk performance as determined by various sources including QC reports, financial reviews, scorecard analysis and information from other CL internal departments
    • Research, analyze and respond to sellers invoice questions working closely with the CL sales team and other internal departments
    • Accurately gather, track, and report receivables through monthly reporting
    • Work closely with QC, Compliance and Operations in determining potential seller performance issues
    • Maintain seller’s current information through various sources including spreadsheets and database
    • Work closely with internal partners, as well as external sellers to provide problem resolution, as well as superior service
    • Respond quickly to heavy email volumes and phone inquiries from multiple sources
    • Act as a central point of contact and deliver superior responsiveness for sellers as they navigate the recourse and recovery process
    • Function as a subject matter expert on the seller scorecard and the invoice process
    • Analyze seller’s past experience on ability to deliver compliant, quality, performing loans
    • Review and understand business Financial Statements for adherence to established guidelines
    • Evaluate client insurance policies to ensure proper compliance with Texas Capital Bank policies
    • Prepare recourse and recovery documents and ensure the documents are properly executed by client and Texas Capital Bank management
    • Professional communicate through email or phone with sellers and internal partners
    • Provide backup support in a limited role to the Risk Management Group
    • Additional responsibilities as required

    Qualifications

    • 5 - 7 years related work experience in mortgage, banking, financial services, or client management with a focus on any of the following: risk,  underwriting, QA/QC, Compliance, Secondary Marketing, or similar discipline
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, Business degree acceptable
    • QA/QC and/or Risk Management experience is ideal
    • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to effectively communicate with business owners and C-level executives via phone and email; ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
    • Extremely well organized, very detail-oriented, and ability to manage  heavy workload
    • Must possess a high degree of analytical, reasoning and decision making proficiencies
    • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze a variety of documents provided by the client
    • High level of accounting knowledge of a company’s balance sheet and income statement
    • Ability to work independently, while handling multiple tasks in varying stages of completion
    • Ability to manage work activity over several weeks through to completion
    • Must be able to cope with interruptions and shift workload priorities quickly as required
    • General knowledge of entity documents and structure for Corporations, LLC’s, Partnerships and Trusts
    • General Commercial insurance policy knowledge would be a plus
    • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
    • Computer Skills:  General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook; Loan Logics, Cenlar experience preferred
    • Highly organized, detail oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize activities, think analytically, and independently
