    This position functions as a key contributor inside the Reporting and Analytics team to create robust reporting solutions which meet the business needs of the organization.  This position will communicate with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts from TCB’s Business Units, and counterparts in IT to complete system requirements, technical specifications and process documentation for assigned projects.   Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the scope of the business problems presented and helps identify viable technical solutions. 

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, modify, and implement reports using SSRS, and Power BI
    • Work directly with business users in understanding the needs of the business and developing innovative, effective, and efficient SSRS and Power BI reporting solutions to meet these requirements
    • Deliver accurate and timely ad-hoc extracts that support different business requirements
    • Communicate with business owners and project managers defining report requirements and creating effective solutions for those requirements.
    • Resolve report performance issues
    • Perform data integrity and audit checks to ensure accuracy of reports
    • Support and performs software life-cycle development
    • Ensure standards and best practices used in development are followed and maintained
    • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports, and develop strategies for enhancing and improving the performance of these reports
    • Increase and enhance the developed reporting documentation effectiveness, thoroughness, and organization

    Qualifications

    • Excellent with SSRS and Power BI including writing complex T-SQL queries required
    • Previous Banking/ Financial Services experience required
    • Strong data interpretation, visualization and presentation skills required
    • 5+ years proven experience working on SSRS or equivalent experience in Financial Reporting required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
    • Experience with tools like Tableau and Business Objects preferred
    • Proven history as a self-starter who can add value by driving projects while working independently with a minimum amount of supervision
    • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to trace report performance issues to root cause
    • Strong discipline in full life cycle development
    • Ability to work on and organize concurrent projects
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with little supervision
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with good interpersonal skills
    • Proactive with a positive attitude
    • Bachelor degree preferred
