Responsibilities

  • Serves as a Treasury & Liquidity Sales Officer in the San Antonio Region
  • Develops strategic sales plans and executes in co-ordination with Market Leadership, Line of Business Managers, and Relationship Managers
  • Builds portfolio by partnering with Relationship Managers and sourcing outside opportunities 
  • Understands our prospects/clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to better determine their requirements and incorporate into overall strategy
  • Required to spend up to 40% of time on treasury-led business development efforts
  • Accountable for a portfolio of treasury management and liquidity clients within geographic region/vertical/RM base
  • Manages the relationship review process for existing client base
  • Conducts pricing and negotiation discussions with the prospect/client to optimize relationship profitability and liquidity
  • Pro-actively manages client account analyses and client profitability (excess/deficient balances, peg balance, waives, products, fees, rates)
  • Understands the competitions' capabilities and gaps, and how to position Texas Capital Bank Treasury & Liquidity Solutions against them
  • Promotes sales through client, prospect and industry meetings, discussions and networking 
  • Assesses risk and related exposure relative to treasury solutions, and coordinates internal process to satisfy the company’s approval processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of seven years bank treasury management sales experience
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation strongly preferred
  • Excellent relationship management skills - experience with managing relationships across a variety of internal cross functional departments and senior leadership, and externally with vendors and clients
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills
  • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of bank products, services, credit standards and trends in commercial banking and treasury management
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven history as a self-starter
