  • Coordinate regular reporting and reconciliation of group performance and budget variances and facilitate regular leadership reviews
  • Use performance reporting to support Bank re-forecasting activities each quarter, with a particular focus on translating management/project reporting and variances into updated financial projections
  • Ensure latest projections of significant expense drivers (e.g., activities to address regulatory-related requests, compensation-related expense and occupancy-related expense) are reflected in Bank forecasts and performance projections
  • Coordinate with Bank-wide efficiency initiatives and facilitate the development of departmental performance and efficiency metrics, then assist the Support Group leadership teams in driving value-added improvements across the organization
  • Drive annual Support Group budgeting process activities and integrate with the Bank’s central planning function: establishing planning baselines; building staffing models; providing guidance on budgeting techniques; and supporting cost center managers on budget preparation, costing, etc.
  • As necessary, work with leadership teams to drive development of financial forecasts needed to support Bank Tank requests and other new initiatives
  • Provide expertise in identifying planning improvement opportunities and coordinating their implementation across the Accounting, Finance and Support Group leadership teams
  • Lead and/or support financially-focused (elements of) projects and initiatives as needed to ensure consistency across group financial forecasts and coordination with Bank-wide risk and profitability analysis


  • Bachelor’s degree required in finance or accounting
  • 1-3 years prior work experience; finance or accounting exposure to the credit and/or risk areas within a financial institution preferred
  • Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting and accounting 
  • Well-organized and structured thinker with the ability to drive to completion multiple accounting/financial analysis/reporting projects
  • Detail-oriented and must be able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from project management teams to Bank senior management
  • Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel
