Overview

 

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager must possess a strong understanding of IAM concepts/ trends, as well as knowledge of relevant IAM business and technical expertise.  A successful candidate must be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve, communicate across the organization, participate in diverse project teams focusing on technical and business related aspects, as well as interface effectively with multiple teams throughout Texas Capital Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Identity & Access Management programs throughout Texas Capital Bank
  • Provide the administration and operational support of the Identity Management infrastructure, recommend and drive the enhancement process for the IAM systems to better support Texas Capital Bank’s employees and business owners using the service
  • Participate in design review, working directly with application business owners and IT systems owners on the integration requirements including provisioning, de-provisioning and user lifecycle into the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform
  • Ensure requirements gathered, processes defined, and documented use cases follow out-of-the box configuration versus customization for relevant IAM technologies as much as possible
  • Develop, enhance and maintain system configurations, process design, implementation documentation and operating procedures
  • Maintain and assess operational requirements and service issues for improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with multiple internal teams and external partners on all activities related to application and system integration system enhancements
  • Lead the Access Control Review Board  responsible for reviewing and approving user privileges for all new applications and systems implemented at Texas Capital Bank
  • Remain current on relevant IAM market-related trends, tools, and methodologies
  • Develop IAM employee skills matrix and develop recommended training path curriculum for the team
  • Primarily responsible for developing and training staff in Identity and Access Management processes  supporting  the services we provide to  internal business units
  • Train new hires and demonstrate new IAM solutions to existing staff
  • Manage IAM team, provide coaching and performance feedback
  • Proven success in leading and managing high-performing teams, including but not limited to a history of recruiting and motivating talented and diverse staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Minimum five years of professional work experience in large-scale enterprise IAM environment, with a minimum of three years of management experience developing IAM solutions required
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team required
  • Experience managing user life cycle and integrating application requirements in a shared services framework focused on provisioning, de-provisioning, entitlements and role based access control
  • Experience in gathering requirements, documenting and assessing information while developing enterprise strategies for IAM
  • Extensive knowledge across a broad range of identity and access management solutions and technologies
  • Experience with enterprise directory service (LDAP) administration, such as Active Directory
  • Knowledge of technology trends and developments in the areas of IAM, and knowledge and experience with formal security and control frameworks such as ISO 17799, COSO, ITIL, and NIST SP 800-53
  • Record of building and maintaining relationships with a consultative and engaging style 
  • Experience with managing an IAM team: recruiting, training, coaching, team building and day-to-day oversight       
  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
