  • Ensure that each Business Development Officer has collected the adequate documentation required by Credit Manager prior to submission to Underwriters
  • Provide support, oversight and CRM management for the tracking and recording in Salesforce of all Tactical Marketing Initiatives for the SBA Group working in conjunction with the Texas Capital Bank Marketing Department
  • Drive departmental efficiencies on both the front end and back end of the loan submission process by ensuring that all critical underwriting requirements are secured from each BDO prior to submission to credit and that adequate follow-up for outstanding SBA items is conducted prior to a file moving into closing
  • Assist Credit Manager and Closing Manager as necessary in times of peak loan activity to ensure SBA Group efficiencies are maximized
  • Support the Bank’s Commercial Business Development Officers, CRA Officers, Relationship Managers and other community lenders with small business and franchise lending requests for loans in the range of $250,000 to $500,000 they arise from their individual sales efforts
  • Assist each SBA Business Development Officer with small business lending requests in the range of $250,000 to $500,000 as they are originated
  • Source, qualify and submit to credit any individually procured small business opportunity in the range of $250,000 to $750,000


  • 2-4 years related experience, preferably in a banking environment with proven SBA loan closing and customer service skills
  • Must possess a general understanding of SBA loan processing, closing and funding procedures
  • Training in office practices with additional SBA and NAGGL courses preferred.
  • Familiarity with PC and mainframe lending software applications.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good organizational, interpersonal communications and customer relations skills are required
  • Attention to detail for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions
