The bank's Builder Finance team is headquartered in Houston and works with home builders across the United States.  We are looking for an experienced lender who has established relationships and we are open to candidates in most geographical locations with a preference for the east coast. 


  • Become a trusted advisor to home builders in a geographical region
  • Source clients through existing relationships, centers of influence and business development
  • Work with C-level executives to understand their credit and depository needs
  • Structure and price credit opportunities in collaboration with local underwriting and credit approval
  • Sell treasury management and liquidity solutions in conjunction with a local treasury sales executive
  • Manage and monitor the portfolio on an on-going basis in conjunction with a Relationship Associate
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Represent Texas Capital Bank in the community
  • Follow trends in industry and stays current with changes in lending practices


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a lender focused on residential home builders  
  • Formal credit training preferred
  • Experience leading syndicated transactions a plus
  • Proven success building relationships with C-level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a portfolio 
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across the organization and consult with other groups to solve the needs of the client including Treasury and Private Wealth Advisors 
  • Effective communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in the use of software tools for reports, audits, analysis and presentations including Salesforce
